The chapter rides the American River Canyon, the scenic Highway 49 Gold Country route, the Sierra Nevada foothills and Lake Tahoe circuit. Folsom sits at the gateway to some of Northern California's finest mountain roads, with snow-free riding possible most of the year at foothill elevations.
