QDo I need an official H.O.G. chapter to get a website?
No. Global Rider is open to all Harley-Davidson riding groups — official chapters, independent clubs, riding groups, even informal groups of friends who ride together. The only requirement is that you ride Harley-Davidsons and there's more than one of you.
QWhat does 'founding member free' mean?
The person who creates the group — the founding member — never pays a membership fee on Global Rider. That's our thank you for building the community. All other members join free for 6 months, after which a small monthly contribution applies.
QCan members choose how they pay?
Yes. Members can choose monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or yearly billing. Paying annually is the best value at just $1.50/month equivalent — and there's no lock-in beyond the billing period chosen.
QWhat happens when a member's 6 months is up?
We notify them by email 30 days before, then again at 7 days. They choose their preferred plan and payment method. If they don't pay, their member profile moves to inactive — they can reactivate any time.
QIs the group website free forever?
Yes. The group website itself — the URL, the pages, the design — is free. The small fee is per individual member (excluding the founding member). If your group has 10 members paying yearly, that's just $180/year total split 9 ways.
QCan I use my own domain?
Currently groups get a yourgroup.global-rider.com subdomain. Custom domain support (yourclub.com) is on the roadmap.

What does a free Global Rider group website include?
Your free chapter website includes a public homepage with your group's name, logo, description and location, a member roster, upcoming events and ride listings, a photo gallery, and a contact page — all hosted on Global Rider.
Who can get a free group website?
Any riding group listed on Global Rider — official H.O.G. chapters, independent clubs, MCs, riding crews and informal groups — qualifies for a free website.
How do I claim a free website for my riding group?
First, register or claim your chapter profile on Global Rider. Once your group is listed, your free website is automatically activated. You can customise it through the chapter admin dashboard.
